Initial platform setup checklist

Configure company details, fleet readiness, dispatch policies, pricing, payments, and the web booking flow before launch.

Use this order so later configuration has the company, people, and resources it depends on.

New to OpenLimo? Follow Getting Started for step-by-step setup across Back Office, Studio, and the Driver App, then use this checklist for your launch review.

Setup sequence

  1. Complete Settings → Company Setup, including the primary office and business contact details. Review company documents and use Manage in Compliance for changes.
  2. Add team members in Settings → Team & Permissions and assign the access needed for their work.
  3. Add vehicles, vehicle types, drivers, and fleet records. Follow the fleet readiness guide to review published requirements and resolve document actions.
  4. In Settings → Dispatch → Operations, review Assignment rules. Confirm Allow, Warn, or Block for each of the five rules: Assign without vehicle, Fallback vehicle type, Outside the fallback list, Override service type, and Override capacity limit. Fallback vehicle type and Outside the fallback list start at Allow. Then review the Fallbacks tab on each vehicle type in Fleet → Services & types so the substitutions match what you accept.
  5. Review Settings → Payments and Settings → Business → Billing with finance. Confirm billable statuses, period dates, document actions, settlement rules and payout methods.
  6. Open Studio to review zones, rate-plan scopes, variations, vehicle coverage, and company currency. Test a representative quote using the pricing guide.
  7. If you offer online booking, configure Settings → Website. Follow the Website setup instructions for addresses, DNS, the booking snippet, and Allowed websites.
  8. Choose booking-review channels under New bookings in Settings → Dispatch → Operations. If phone bookings need readback, configure Settings → Reservations → Booking readback and test both Back to edit and Save booking.
  9. Create a test reservation and follow it through Dispatch and Billing. Check customer charges and the driver or affiliate amount in Payables where applicable.

Launch check

Confirm that users can see their areas, dispatchers can find and assign expected resources, document requirements have been reviewed, and pricing returns the intended amount and currency. Finance should be able to locate the resulting billing record.

For web bookings, repeat the test on a phone. Edit a stop address, check the phone country selector, navigate back and forward, and confirm the result of the booking or quote request before submitting again.
