Use the Dispatch board

Read the operational board, apply focused views, and keep changes tied to the reservation you intend to manage.

Open Dispatch for the current operational picture. The board brings reservations, timing, assignments, status, and attention indicators into one place.

Work deliberately

  1. Confirm the date or time window you are viewing.
  2. Apply only the filters needed for the current task.
  3. Open the reservation and confirm its passenger, time, and route context before changing it.
  4. Review current driver, vehicle, and status before assigning or advancing work.
  5. Clear filters when finished so hidden work is not mistaken for missing work.

A customized view changes what you see, not the underlying reservation. When something appears absent, first check the date, active filters, and view before recreating it.

Find a reservation

Use the search bar to enter a name or reference, or choose a field under Filter by…. Applied filters appear as chips. Select an editable chip to change it, or use its × to remove it. Filters set through All filters may need to be edited there.

For a partner’s booking number, choose Affiliate Ref, enter the full reference with its punctuation, then select the offered reference. Review the resulting affiliate ref chip. This keeps the partner’s reference separate from your own confirmation number.

Recent search restores a previous query, including its filters. Check the restored date and other chips before treating the results as today’s work. Removing an entry from Recent search removes the saved search, not a reservation.

Keep context while reviewing the board

The confirmation and pickup-time columns stay visible as you scroll the grid horizontally. On affiliate trips, the reference badge beside the confirmation number can be copied for partner follow-up. Open the reservation to review both references and the affiliate details.

An affiliate price-difference indicator calls for a review of the booking’s affiliate charges. It does not by itself tell you whether the trip is complete or a payment has been made. Continue with Farm out work to affiliates for that workflow.

Arrange the map and booking sidebar

Select a booking to open its sidebar below the map. The tabs are Assign driver, Nearby drivers, Affiliates (only when the booking can be farmed out or already has a farm-out), Details, and History. See Assign resources and manage trip status for the assignment tabs.

Details groups the booking into Trip, Passenger, Vehicle & Price, and Notes cards. On a quoted booking, select Breakdown beside the customer price to show the price breakdown.

  • Select Hide map to give the board more room; this also closes an open booking sidebar. Select Show map, or select a booking, to bring the map back.
  • Drag the sidebar’s edge to resize it, down to a minimum width. Double-click the edge to reset the width. Drag the divider above the booking details to change their height.
  • The sidebar width and details height are remembered for your user in this browser.

Follow driver presence on the map

The map pins every on-duty driver who has a reported position. A grey pin means the Driver App is disconnected, and a faded pin means the driver is idle with an ageing position. Off-duty drivers have no pin. Pins refresh about every 30 seconds while the map is shown, and straight after End shift. Use Filters to show or hide pins by state.

Select a pin to open the driver card. It shows the trip state, the driver’s status (Online, Idle, Busy, or Offline), a Connected or Disconnected dot, Last GPS with its age, Shift where timecards are used, rating, and today’s jobs.

End shift asks for confirmation, closes the driver’s open timecard if there is one, and takes the driver offline. It is available only while the driver is on shift or on a break, and it is refused while the driver has an active ride. Confirm with the driver before ending a shift.

Search and review history

Press Ctrl+K to focus the Dispatch search. With the search empty, type ? to open the shortcut list. Find also offers Person priority and Customer priority, and saved filter groups can keep those criteria. Check both filters when a priority booking appears missing.

A booking’s History tab and the CRM booking audit trail show the same booking history. Review the recorded change and its time before repeating a save or changing a status.
